KSK Visiting Professorship Program

Become part of our Visiting Professorship Program (donated by the Educational Foundation of Kreissparkasse (KSK) Esslingen-Nuertingen) and enhance your CV with international experience. Help us to internationalize NGU and prepare our students for global challenges in their future jobs. The terms of appointment may range from half a month to two semesters.

Location

We are located with two major campuses in the towns of Nuertingen and Geislingen in the greater metropolitan area of Stuttgart (State Capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg).

NGU’s central location allows for quick and easy travel within Germany and Europe by public transport. Many exciting European cities, e.g. Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Copenhagen or Vienna, are within a 600-1000km range by plane. By the way: Stuttgart Airport can be reached within 25 minutes!

Campus Nuertingen

Nuertingen offers you delightful living conditions in a safe environment.

Located within the greater metropolitan area of Stuttgart (State Capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg), in one of the strongest economic regions in Germany and Europe, it has about 40.000 citizens with residents from over 100 countries!

Campus Geislingen

Geislingen is located right in the middle of the Swabian Alb with 27.000 citizens. It is a safe town with a long historical tradition. You can enjoy your free time with recreational activities, such as free climbing, hiking or skiing, and benefit from the unique location within the mountainous region of the Swabian Alb and its beautiful scenery or you can easily walk from Geislingen campus to the old town center where you can find pubs, restaurants and small shops! Both Nuertingen and Geislingen offer different kinds of sport facilities, such as yoga or zumba, public pools and lively old town centers.  

There are also various student initiatives, for example our Local Erasmus+ Initiative that offers a platform for (international) students. They also plan joint activities, excursions or networking events.
